HOW TO FISH:
PT CRANKBAIT (shallow diving 100 and 200 series). The PT Crankbait has been designed by noted hall of fame angler Joe Bucher for bass as well as many other fresh and salt water gamefish. The high attention to detail, both cosmetically as well as internally, enables you to fish this crankbait fast or slow, under a wide range of conditions. The diameter of the line you fish this lure with will determine how deep the lure will run. Thicker gauge lines are sure to make the lure run very shallow -- perfect for over top high weeds or along side shallow timber. Thinner diameter lines allow the lure to track deeper over lower weed growth, deep brush and rock humps.
For best results in heavy cover such as timber and weeds, work the lure with a pull and pause action that allows the PT Crankbait to vibrate violently forward until it hits the cover. The subsequent pause will allow the lure to back itself up and out of the cover immediately thereafter. This action can trigger explosive strikes. Over clear open water terrains, a fast retrieve speed is apt to be more effective. The PT Crankbait is precision designed to wobble tantalizingly well at slow speeds, yet maintain track at extremely high speeds as well.
