HOW TO FISH:
This lure was designed specifically for big gamefish of all species that cruise open water and clean hard bottom areas. It is especially effective in deep water; particularly when big fish are suspended off bottom.

It is recommended that this lure be fished with lines no less than 50 lb. test and a heavy action rod.

There are several ways to fish this lure effectively depending upon the conditions, but a simple straight retrieve (medium to medium slow) is tough to beat. However, you can also cast this lure out and count it down to the desired depth since it sinks about one foot per second. For example, if suspended big gamefish show up on your sonar unit at 18 feet, a simple count to eighteen followed by a slow retrieve will put the lure right in the fish zone of these suspended fish. This method is deadly on summer suspended fish.

Another effective way to fish this lure is to cast it out and let it sink all the way to the bottom. Then retrieve the lure with 5 to 7 hard cranks of the reel followed by a pause to allow the lure to sink back to the bottom. This method is particularly effective in the fall when big gamefish are often more bottom oriented.
