HOW TO FISH:
P.T. Popper - The PT Popper has been specifically designed by hall of fame angler Joe Bucher for bass and any other gamefish that responds to a popper style topwater bait. The PT Popper differs from many other poppers in that it has been internally weighted to purposely hang the lure more vertically in the water (tail down). This tail-down angle improves both the action and hooking power of the lure.
This bait can be fished a number of ways successfully. In many bass situations, long pauses in between forward movements triggers the majority of the strikes. When action is imparted, try a short wrist snap and a softer "pop" for the first few feet. If that doesn't trigger a response, initiate a rhythmic, constant jerking action from the rod tip as you retrieve. Combined with a bit of slack line in between jerks, the PT Popper will dance back and forth as it also makes a popping noise. The combination is deadly!
