HOW TO FISH:
The PT Rattler was designed by noted hall of fame angler Joe Bucher, and is effective for nearly every kind of fresh and salt water gamefish. The 4” size creates a cross over lure for Bass or Musky as well as others. This lure is a sinking, lipless crankbait that can be fished a variety of ways. Over shallow water reefs and weeds, it is often most productive to simply cast the PT Rattler out and crank it extremely fast in order to keep it shallow and initiate a hard, tight vibrating action. Thicker gauge lines will also aid in making the lure run shallower. When fish are more sluggish, this same lure can be worked slow and very tight to the bottom by casting it out and letting it sink all the way to the bottom (until your line goes slack). Then try either a slow steady retrieve, just enough to initiate a noticeable wiggle at your rod tip, or a pump and drop action.
