HOW TO FISH:

The Twitch'n Stik™ is an incredibly effective soft plastic jerkbait for both fresh and salt water big gamefish. For best results, the Twitch'n Stik™ should be fished with a stiff action, heavy power baitcasting outfit loaded with 40 to 85 pound test, non-stretch, super braid style line. The stiff action rod combined with a non-stretch line helps in accentuating the strong side-to-side, up-and-down action - common to class jerkbait fishing.

When fish are shallow, work the Twitch'n Stik™ quickly with short jerks from the rod combined with a fast pick up from the reel. In fact, simply gunning the reel quickly with no rod tip manipulation at all can also be effective.

When fish are deeper and more sluggish, slow the entire jerking motion down and lengthen the pause in between jerks. This enables the Twitch'n Stik™ to dart to one side and then descend towards the bottom. This is often deadly on sluggish colder water fish.

In all cases, the majority of strikes will occur at the end of the jerk motion or during the pause. Don't worry about fast reaction time or quick hooksets. When a fish grabs the Twitch'n Stik™, the soft plastic texture of the lure convinces the fish that it is the real thing. It will simply hold on to the lure and carry it around until you set the hook!
